Once you land in United States your employer should take care of your initial Accommodation. If your employer has arranged a pickup, stay in your terminal so that you can find your host.
If you are travelling alone make sure you have made all arrangements for your stay. Make sure you choose a right place to stay. In google maps looks for a place where you have Indian groceries store around the city you are flying to. Usually there will be Indian community around the store for accommodation or apartment sharing.
